Spawning enemies now works differently. Instead of spawning every enemy at once but at different distances, they now spawn in during the wave with a 0.5 second delay. This should hopefully make later waves on a good run a little less painful as you won’t have to wait for the enemies to walk onto the screen before you can kill them.
The health bar now looks a little nicer. I added numbers so you can see your (rounded up) health and max health. When you take damage a little red trail follows your normal red health bar so that it doesn’t just jump down. I also changed the background from light gray to a much darker gray.
You can now see your current stacks (like bloodlust kills on the side)
Hitting enemies now shows damage numbers so you can see how much damage you deal.
Enemies now flash a lighter color every time they take damage.
When you die the game now waits 3 seconds instead of 1 before switching scenes to the main menu.
Fixed a bug where spam opening and closing the shop would tick the game forward one frame every time you open the shop.
Also fixed the shop going too far down and then jumping back up.
Fixed normal elites dashing less often with more attack speed. It’s now the other way around.
Increased max particles from 1k to 100k to stop the particle system from maxing out. If this causes too much lag I might revert it or lower it later.
Changed coins gain so that items now stack additively with each other. For example if you take two higher stakes the coins you gain will be multiplied by 1 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 2.
Changed some base stats
speed 3.5 -> 3
attack speed 2 -> 1.5
damage 20 -> 25
Shooting elites now shoot quick, accurate bullets that deal a lot of damage but shoot really slowly and don’t shoot in bursts anymore. They also stay further away.
Increased the map size from 10 to 11.
Luck now has a soft cap at 5 luck and increases slower and slower after that.
New fire damage type:
If an enemy is on fire it takes damage 2 times per second. Enemies burn for 4 seconds before extinguishing but lighting them on fire again during this period will reset the timer to 4 seconds. Taking Fire Rings increases fire damage and lets you light enemies on fire by shooting them.
New Sprinkler Boss:
Guaranteed to spawn on wave 30 and keeps spawning randomly every 15 waves after that.
New bomb enemy:
Small, very fast but with low health. Goes directly for the player and explodes and deals massive damage if it hits the player. Starts spawning from wave 4.
New charging enemy:
charges up and spawns a bunch of orbs that then explode with short delay between each orb, shooting bullets in every direction that have a very short lifetime so they don’t travel too far. You can cancel the charge up by shooting the enemy and dealing enough damage.
New items:
Fire Ring (epic)
health multiplier 0.9

10% chance to ignite enemies when you hit them. Doesn't stack with more fire rings.
Potassium Nitrate (epic)
fire tick rate 1
Commoner (legendary)
Common items cost half as much but the rarer items cost a lot more.
Nobility (legendary)
Buying epic or rarer items gives you a stack of pride. Buying anything more common
removes a stack. Every stack gives +20% damage.
Hasty Investments (epic)
increases coins gain based on your different speeds.

Hedgehog Quills (rare)
shoot out bullets in all directions when you take damage

heals you every new wave (5% per stack + 10 flat per stack)
healing 0.1 (increases the healing you receive by 10% per stack)
Blood Sacrifice (epic)
Take 1% damage per item per second but deal more damage
damage multiplier 1.3
Merchant’s Coin (uncommon)
10% cheaper restocks

Green Candy (common)
attack speed 0.25
Metal Scrap (common)
speed multiplier 0.96
